Here are six reasons people don't exercise and I think I've used everyone of them.
6. Gym membership is too expensive for your budget.
You don't need a gym to exercise. I do pull-ups on a tree branch and do dips at the playground in the park I run through. Dumbbells or rubber straps are inexpensive. Improvise and get it done.
5. You start to exercise and then quit after a while.
Maybe you started out training too hard. Start at your level and build from there.
4. You hate to exercise
You need to find ways to exercise that you enjoy. If you like the company of others join a soccer team (my friend finally exercised by doing this). If you really can't change your thinking about exercise, then fool yourself. Hide exercise in physical activities you like to do.
3. Your not seeing any results.
It takes time to change your body, several years to put the weight on. It will take some time to take it off. Some people see results in 30 days and other take up to 12 weeks. The time will pass whether you are exercising or not, so commit and be patient.
2. You are bored with your workout.
Your body is probably bored with your workout as well. Educate yourself and change
your. Get a trainer or by a book or magazine. Change your routine when you get bored with it.
1. You don't have time to exercise.
The time is there, you have to manage it. Trade exercise for TV. I've never come home from the gym and wished that I had stayed home and watched TV, but I have watched TV and regretted not going to the gym. Get your family to exercise with you. Start small and build as your ability increases. Take control! Don't let life kick you around. Get up and exercise, now!
